With the reef only 0.5 to 3 metres under the glass, the glass bottom boat tour offers a clear and close-up view of hard and soft corals, giant clams, anemones, fish and more, explained by one of our marine experts. You might even spot a sea turtle!

Our Moore Reef pontoon proudly features the only waterslide on the Great Barrier Reef. Plunge down an exhilarating 30-meter spiral from our sun deck, splashing into the crystal-clear tropical ocean. Try to beat the record of 110 slides in a day as you enjoy this adrenaline-pumping experience. Lifeguards supervise the waterslide throughout the day, ensuring safety for both big and little kids alike.

Immerse yourself in the wonders of the reef from the comfort of our underwater observatory. Located at one end of the pontoon, this captivating room situated below sea level offers a breathtaking window into the vibrant world of fish and coral. Enjoy the fascinating views at your leisure by descending the stairs to the observatory whenever you desire.
Don’t miss the fish feeding presentation, where hundreds of fish swarm near the window, providing a captivating spectacle.

Kayak Tour

Perfect for Good Swimmers • Active Travellers
Join a kayak tour and paddle into adventure straight from the beach, an exciting add-on to your time at Fitzroy Island! Explore the stunning landscapes and dense rainforests from your kayak, witnessing the beauty of the island as you kayak. Participants must be able to swim and have moderate fitness capabilities. Operating daily at 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm, with a 45-minute duration, a maximum of 6 people per session, and swimming ability essential. Double and Single kayaks will be allocated by the tour leader, who will provide a buoyancy vest and instructions for operating the kayak.

Experience the wonder of Turtle Talk on Fitzroy Island with Sunlover. Join us daily at 2.30pm for a 35-minute session, limited to 10 passengers per day for a low-intensity encounter. Nestled in the rainforest with a beach view, learn about the care and rehabilitation efforts for these magnificent creatures before they are released back into the wild. All ticket proceeds go back to the Turtle Rehabilitation Centre, making it a rewarding and educational experience

Discover the diverse wildlife and historical uses of the plants while enjoying comfortable pathways suitable for all ages. Join Sunlover for a daily 45-minute guided tour to the Secret Garden on Fitzroy Island at 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Immerse yourself in the pristine rainforest as our expert guide leads you on a 1km trek, sharing intriguing facts about the unique ecosystem and the island’s rich history. Discover a plethora of fascinating flora and fauna coexisting in harmony under the rainforest canopy, offering a tranquil and awe-inspiring experience. Moderate fitness level recommended for the 1km uneven terrain trail. Max 11 participants per session.
