Led by an experienced guide, this 1km rainforest trail explores the island’s unique ecosystem, native flora and fauna, and fascinating natural history. A peaceful, immersive experience beneath the tropical canopy, perfect for those looking to slow down and learn more about the island beyond the beach.
Moderate fitness recommended due to uneven terrain.

Kayak Tour

Paddle straight off the beach and explore Fitzroy Island from the water on this guided kayak experience. Glide along the coastline, taking in dense rainforest, granite headlands, and clear tropical waters from a unique perspective. This is an active, small-group experience suited to confident swimmers with a moderate level of fitness.
Single or double kayaks are allocated by the guide. Buoyancy vests and full instructions are provided.

Perfect for The Whole Family • Low Intensity
Experience the wonder of Turtle Talk on Fitzroy Island with Sunlover. Join us daily at 2.30pm for a 35-minute session, limited to 10 passengers per day for a low-intensity encounter. Nestled in the rainforest with a beach view, learn about the care and rehabilitation efforts for these magnificent creatures before they are released back into the wild. All ticket proceeds go back to the Turtle Rehabilitation Centre, making it a rewarding and educational experience
