Fuel Surcharge
Due to the significant increase and volatility of fuel prices in Australia, it has regrettably become necessary to introduce a fuel surcharge to your ticket price, effective from Wednesday 1 April 2026. The surcharge is payable at the time of booking.
- The surcharge is applicable for all new bookings from 30/3/26 with travel from 1 April.
- The surcharge will be automatically added to your booking via our Respax booking system for travel from 1 April 2026.

Standard Rates
👶 Infants – Boat Travel (Sunlover Reef Cruises)
Infants aged 0–3 years travel free on all Sunlover boat services; however, they must be included in your booking. For safety reasons, we are required to hold an accurate passenger manifest for every person on board — including babies and toddlers.
🚁 Infants – Helicopter Flights
Helicopter regulations differ from boat travel. Please note:

0–1 years (not yet 2nd birthday): may fly free of charge when seated on the lap of a parent or guardian

Limit of 1 infant per helicopter flight

Infants must be advised at the time of booking to ensure seating availability and safety compliance

2 years and over: must occupy their own seat and a fare will apply

Flexible bookings
We understand that it is difficult to know what travel restrictions may be around the corner. When you book your trip with Sunlover you can be confident that any disruptions will not result in re-booking or cancellation fees. Let us know at least 24 hours prior to your tour departure date and we will either refund your booking or reschedule to a future date. When rescheduling your booking we will honour the existing price you have booked wherever possible.
